COVID 19 UPDATE

Hi Everyone!

Hope you are well. Just wanted to give you an update on how things are going in regards to shipping and stock availability.

Shipping - We are shipping every Monday, Wednesday and Friday due to local restrictions.

International shipping has been resumed; tracked via Royal Mail. Orders to the US have varied from 2-3 weeks to arrive, Europe 1-2 weeks, Australia 2-3 weeks. However, delays seem to be recurring globally and may take slightly longer.

UK shipping resumes via Royal Mail 1st class signed for; delays may be expected for post.

Embroidered Items (Pre-orders) ; hoodies, joggers and caps have been put for pre-order only. We are awaiting on confirmation from our embroider as to when they will be opening again. Once a date has been confirmed, we will place another update here and email all customers who have placed an order. Thank you for your patience.

T-shirts, Shorts and Polo Dresses - are available for shipping. Please allow UP to 7 days maximum for dispatch as I am doing orders alone. I try to dispatch within the next shipping day as stated above but on busier days I may need a little more time.

Restocking sizes; if you wish to place an order on a size that is not in stock, they are usually re-stocked every Monday. Drop us an email if you need more info.

Packaging; some of our packages may not come in our usual boxes due to suppliers catching up on a lag of orders from the past few months.

Face Masks - 24.05.2020 UPDATE; we are still waiting for elastic to arrive and understand there is a delay in some post. Current orders have been prepped and will be ready to finish and ship once elastic arrives. I have placed face masks as sold out until Thursday 28th May, 2020 - 9am GMT.

Again, thank you so much for your understanding, ongoing support and love, especially during these testing times. I hope that you keep safe and take care,

Angela xo

Face Masks

Hey everyone,

I have decided to make face masks for free - as someone who sews, I would like to do my part in giving back something to the community.

They will be available in adults and kids sizes and are for the UK only - there is a lag and delay in packages to the USA. I shall be doing the run till the fabric runs out.

Please note these are not medical face masks and you will have to still follow recommended safety precautions; don’t touch your face/mask, practice social distancing and wash your hands.

I shall be using left over fabric from last year’s summer collection and sample making. They each have a lining and no pins will be used when making so that no holes will be made.

All face masks are ideal for doing quick supermarket runs and other necessities. They are not ideal for wearing for long periods of time. After making the prototypes, I decided to make them with elastics as the head and neck ties are fiddly and hazardous for small children.

Take care and stay safe xo

Weekly Planner

Hi everyone!

Hope you are all doing okay. I’ve designed a weekly planner you can customise while homeschooling or working from home.

This is how I normally plan, as it gives me the flexibility to alter anything if need be - sometimes planning the night or two before.

I normally section out the day in between meal times! I do the core subjects in the morning after breakfast up till lunch time, as I find them to concentrate better here and plan other activities such as PE, arts and crafts or movie time for the rest of the day. We sometimes finish before lunch so would do other activities.

When working from home, this type of format helps me plan out the day as I like writing a tick/to do list.

You can download this here or simply make your own :)

FIVE TIPS FOR HOMESCHOOLING

As promised, I will be posting content which you may find helpful for homeschooling. As a mother, I know that it is not easy for all - parents and children. You will have your good days and you will have your not so good days but just remember that it’s okay to take a break in the midst of it all.

Below are five tips that I like to go by as I’ve found them really useful when homeschooling.

COVID 19 UPDATE

Thank you everyone for your ongoing support! The amount of love shown over these weeks are so appreciated.

As you may know, all our suppliers and fabric shops we work with are all based here in the UK; many of whom run small businesses too. Unfortunately, due to Covid 19, many are understandably closing due to government guidelines and health reasons. Many are hoping to reopen on 14th April but have not finalised a date because of the uncertainty we are all facing.

Due to this, we have had a lag in our production and will be offering sales as pre orders but cannot ship many of them yet. These products include our hoodies, joggers, The Kiddie Drip all in one and hats. Our t-shirts are still being dispatched as normal. We are trying to ship products every 3 to 4 days.

Keep safe. Wishing you all love and light!

To all our ANGELA NOEL family...

As you know, our world, at the moment is being impacted greatly by Covid-19.

I care deeply about the health and safety of all our customers, peers and family. Therefore, it is imperative we act responsibly and compassionately so that we all as one, can get through this together.

The disease has affected many of our lives, businesses and work.

I am a mother of two beautiful daughters - they are a massive part of the reason why I even started this business. I source, design and create everything here in the UK. It is with regret, I will be putting international orders on hold until uncertainty is over.

Please email me for further information.

Many parents in the UK are now homeschooling their children. For those who have little to no experience in this - it can be daunting. I home schooled my daughters for a few years and I am quite looking forward to spending more time together. It has been a normality for me to run the business at the same time. I will continue to source homeschooling and working from home tips and inspo via the blog and Instagram stories. I will be posting tried and tested websites, YouTube channels, routine tips and examples.

In the meantime, please stay safe, wash your hands and follow government guidelines on social distancing. You may be saving a life.

Love,

Angela xo

The Kiddie Drip – Drop 2

The Kiddie Drip – Drop 2

Drop 2 features The Kiddie Drip embroidered on our ANGELA NOEL hoodies and joggers. These can be purchased both singularly or as a set. I’ve also introduced an All in One for babies and toddlers.

I opted for black and khaki pieces. These are classic sets I wanted to create with the vision of being timeless and being able to co-ordinate them with pieces you may already own. They are simplistic and chic and can be dressed up or dressed down with practically any coat! They all have a relaxed fit so would be great for layering in the cold weather.

To excel in your drip because no matter your age, greatness can be expressed through fashion.

The Kiddie Drip Range – Drop 1

Let Them Be Little T-shirt and Hands of Mom T-shirt.

For this range, we are going back to my arts and graphics roots!

I wanted to play on classical pieces and to bring an element of art media for each piece.

The Let Them Be Little top features Mona Lisa hand drawn before being put on the tee. My eldest daughter has a massive interest in the brand and fashion design; her handwriting is featured on the quote. Each step was observed and discussed with her. Each bubblegum is hand-painted individually so no two tops are exactly the same.

The second tee is titled “Hands of Mom” a play on one of Michaelangelo’s art pieces. I love how the hands passing a bottle incorporated “tired” looking hands. I thought it would be fun to add an object mums could relate to in order to add light hearted humour into the tee – which is something I love to do when designing.

Hey everyone, it’s been a while again since posting on the blog. A lot has happened in between and at the moment we are having a sample sale!

This sample sale is the first range I shall be sewing solely on my own. It consists of three co-ord sets. We have brought the Grace co-ord back after it’s success last summer. This year I am introducing the Peyton set (long line top and shorts) which is unisex and the Hayden co-ord which offers you the same top from the Peyton but with the skirt.

I wanted both bottoms to be elasticated so that they are easier to put on children and to also encourage young children to independently dress themselves.

I’ve always loved long line tops and the touch of class they bring to many outfits. Each top features a split on each side to exaggerate this.

Each set is sophisticatedly simple. You can wear these co-ords both as casual and occasion wear. I can’t wait to dress my girls in these for several occasions I have planned including a birthday and christening.

I am so excited to finally be making an organic cotton version for each piece! It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for the longest since releasing the organic cotton baby grows.

All sets feature the ANGELA NOEL logo embroidered on both top and bottom - a huge milestone to tick off the list :)

Several colours have also been added; lilac, mint, cream and baby pink.

I hope you all like the sets and all feedback is welcome!

Till the next post,

Angela x
